Archangel Ariel
Archangel Ariel is sometimes confused with Archangel Uriel (they are different, Archangel Ariel's name means lion or lioness of God). Archangel Ariel's specific role if the guardianship of Mother Earth, and he watches over the animals, birds and fish. Archangel Ariel also takes care of the nature spirits and the fairy realms.
Archangel Ariel doesn't look like you would expect and angel to look - he has the head of a lion, although you will rarely see pictures depicting him in his true form. Paintings of him normally show him carrying a scroll.
Archangel Ariel is also associated with the colours blue, silver and white. Should you wish to contact him, burn a candle in one of these colours and you may feel his energy more closely.
